We seized the opportunity to fulfill the need for reliable and affordable TV service and put together a great package that brings affordable service, crisp picture quality, and professional customer service to our subscribers.
DiasporaTV is an IPTV company that broadcasts European channels to subscribers via internet. We are building up our system from the ground up with quality and affordability in mind.
When we were choosing the system that would power DiasporaTV’s IPTV service, we looked at a couple of factors in the decision-making process:

Each of these factors directly corresponds with market needs. Taking into consideration the current state of the Economy, an equally significant aspect is the price of our service. We understand that in order to make a dent in the current IPTV market, we will have to offer quality service at reasonable price points.
The system uses MPEG-4 compression to deliver television channels. Although a standard technology for quite some time, MPEG-4 has become the de-facto compression method for most IPTV systems nowadays. 
This is due to its effectiveness in condensing data packets for transmission. Smaller data packets result use less bandwidth, which results in lower costs for DiasporaTV and its subscribers.
Upon service sign-up, the subscriber is provisioned with a set-top box that connects to the Internet in plug-and-play mode. As soon as it is connected, the set-top box will be ready to stream TV channels right away. Additionally, our set-top boxes feature a wide array of functionalities that extend the use of the box to reading e-mail, the latest news, listening to subscriber’s own music files and internet radio, etc.
From concept to deployment, we built DiasporaTV to thrive in extremely competitive niche markets. To keep up with technology and competitors, we are constantly on the lookout for better and less expensive equipment and service providers.
Our short-term plans are to expand our coverage areas while our mid-term plans involve extending our product and service portfolio.
While we consider DiasporaTV our flagship product, we also own and operate a network of websites. We are currently revamping our website network so that we can leverage from organic traffic generated. This page will be updated when we feel that our network is ready to go live.
